Active English is a four-level course for ESO written especially for 12 to 16-year-old students in our country.
A contrastive approach
Active English fully addresses the reality of Spanish schools with large, mixed-ability, monolingual classes. It takes a radical look at methodology and exercise types. In particular, it makes use of L1 in a practical and effective way to help students learn efficiently and develop autonomy, with translation exercises, dictations, error correction, a bilingual dictionary, grammar reference and memory training.
