Jeremy Edgar

I've been working in ELT for thirty years, first at Goldsmiths College, London University and then here in Mexico. I've taught from 1st grade all the way up to post grad in private schools and universities in D.F. Morelos and Veracruz  - the Anuahuac, Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Bachillerato Alexander Bain, Oikos, and the Centro Educativo Cocoyoc (both as teacher and coordinator). I have also taught for the SEP in the CBETiS 13 Xalapa, Ver. I've worked as an editor for Richmond and for Dayton University Publishing.

I have written or co-written somewhere between 10 and 20 books for Richmond, Macmillan and Dayton, including Richmond’s Kinder Steps and Star Players. I love teaching both hands-on and by proxy (creating materials for the classroom) and I'm currently working freelance mostly writing ELT material.

Outside of ELT I've been a gardener, truck driver, bus driver, chef, soldier, mechanic, electronics engineer and a few other things! I like all types of football: Association, Rugby and American; chess; swimming; reading; and motor bikes.

Lynda Edwards

Lynda spent the first part of her working life teaching EFL to international students before going on to becoming involved in teacher training. She had always written materials for her students and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to start writing for publication. Since then she has gone on to write several course books for students from A2 level through to C1 as well as skills books, resource books, work books, teacher’s books and tests.

She is also the author of many readers at A1/A2/B1 level – both adaptations and original stories (one currently short-listed for an REF award). While still a teacher Lynda became an examiner for the Cambridge ESOL Upper Main Suite oral exams and then started to write for the exams themselves. She is currently an item writer for ten Cambridge ESOL examinations including FCE/CAE/CPE/ILEC and TKT.

When she is not writing Lynda enjoys reading and walking her dog Bailey in the New Forest.
